Bill Lark’s Scottish Triathlon returns with a call upon golfers, fisherfolk and whisky drinkers to team up in one of the most unique events on the calendar.
Over the weekend, participants choose their own timing to head out in pairs or separately, amassing golf points and catching trout along Ratho’s riverfront or well-stocked dam, or at their own secret fishing hole no more than 45 minutes drive from Ratho Farm.
All participants must be back in the Homestead by 8pm on the Friday night with trout lodged for weighing and golf scorecards signed, ready for the third leg: a Whisky Tasting Quiz with Bill Lark.
The format is two-person teams. The team score combines points per the average length of all fish caught with bonus points for every additional fish, the best stableford score over any nine holes from either team member’s individual scores per hole, and points for correct answers in the Whisky Tasting Quiz.

Schedule

Indicative only. The running order below is based on previous years and may change.

• Thursday: optional check in from 2pm, golf and fishing with no scores counting, welcome dinner from 6.30pm including a whisky tasting with Bill Lark
• Friday: breakfast from 8am, Triathlon day one, golf and fishing from 9am to 6.30pm, dinner and Whisky Tasting Quiz from 8pm
• Saturday: breakfast from 8am, Triathlon day two, golf and fishing from 9am to 3pm, presentations from 4pm
• Sunday: breakfast and departures

• $495 early bird for the three days, including lunches, twin share accommodation, dinners, breakfasts and all activities. Single occupancy available, price on enquiry
